Open the Services app

To do so, follow these steps: Open File Explorer, locate the My Computer icon, right-click on it, and select Manage.

In the bottom left column, click Services and Applications, click Services, and find the Wired AutoConfig Service in the middle column. ATTENTION, services are sorted alphabetically, so it will be somewhere at the end.

Check if the service is running (it is running). If it is not running, double-click on the next menu and in the Startup type menu, select Automatic, below the service status menu click on Start and on the bottom click on Apply and OK. Once again, check that the service is really running, see. above. Now let's go to custom network adapter configuration.

Adapter configuration

In the Taskbar, click the Start icon, Settings, Network and Internet, Ethernet, and Change adapter options. Select the Ethernet adapter and right-click on it and click Properties.

Now click the Authentication tab.

Ensure that the Enable IEEE 802.1X Authentication, Remember Login Information, etc. ... and Use Unauthorized Network Access menus are checked. In the Choose Network Authentication Method drop-down menu, Microsoft must be Protected EAP (PEAP). Now click on the Settings sub-menu. Click Verify server identity by certificate verification (see figure), select the authentication method below: Secure password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) and click on the Configure button. In the next window, click Automatically use my username and password, etc. ...... (again, see the picture) and click OK. Click OK to close the Protected EAP Properties window.

In the window that opens, on the Authentication tab, click the More Settings button. On the next screen, click Enter Authentication Mode and select User Authentication from the menu below. To the right of this field, click Save Login Information. On the next screen write your login data in the form: st123456@upce.cz and the relevant valid password / see. picture/. Click OK to close all open windows.

You can then plug the data cable into the data socket and everything should work. If not, check the procedure and correct any errors.
