No app is needed to connect to the Eduroam network anymore.
If you have already been connected to Eduroam in the past, remove the old wifi settings and continue according to the image.

If you are still having trouble connecting, we recommend checking the following points:

1. Anonymous field

• Check if the anonymous identity field is not pre-filled with a value. If so, delete it.

2. Autocomplete

• Avoid using the autocomplete feature in Android when filling in your details.

• Sometimes hidden spaces are added, which the system treats as another character and the login fails.

3. Password

• Make sure you are logging in with the eduroam password that you can find in your personal profile on the intranet.

4. System update

• Make sure you have the latest available software update installed.

If the login fails and you are using Android version lower than 14, follow these steps:

These versions of Android do not support the current certificate. There are two possible solutions:

1. Remove the saved connection to the eduroam network.

2. Download the geteduroam app.

3. In the list of organizations, select Univerzita Pardubice/ University of Pardubice

4. In the Login required section, enter your eduroam credentials (username and password).

5. Then go back to the Wi-Fi settings and turn Wi-Fi off and on again.

6. In some system versions, a notification may appear asking for permission to connect to the Wi-Fi network via the geteduroam app – confirm it.

7. 7. If the device does not automatically connect to the eduroam network, try turning Wi-Fi off and on again.

The procedure is illustrated on Android 10. On other versions, the screen appearance may differ slightly, but the connection principle remains the same.
